   We had the pleasure of spending an afternoon with friends hosted by Sue and Gary. What a magnificent place from the moment you drive in to be in awe of the splendid oak trees and then emerge into a peaceful oasis of a well laid out established garden. Sue and Gary were the perfect hosts the food was lovely the setting picture book perfect and the weather also was in harmony . we will be back and recommending to all our friends

   We had the most wonderful afternoon hosted by Sue and Gary at Oak lane lodge. The setting under the trees is magical. We were lucky enough to have the house and grounds to ourselves to explore. The kids (and adults alike) loved seeking out the birds, sculptures hidden in the garden, and just taking in the gardens themselves. Had a delicious lunch set out on tables under the trees. Spent the rest of the afternoon around the pool… divine! Thanks so much Sue, such a memorable day x

   Loved our weekend getaway under the generous hospitality of Sue at Oak Lane Lodge. Gorgeous surrounds, areas to relax and unwind, wonderfully cooked breakfasts and baking, with thoughtful and timely drinks on the side. Very friendly hosts and of course Coco (the dog) made an anniversary weekend very special. Recommended!

   Little slice of heaven!!! We spent the night at Oak Lane Lodge. What an enchanting house and an incredible garden with the most beautiful trees. If you are looking for a house full of period character features and a quiet getaway, I would highly recommend Oak Lane Lodge. Sue and Gary were fantastic hosts and could not spoil us enough. The food was outstanding, the rooms and bathrooms clean and tidy and the beds very comfortable. We would def be visie again!

   Why was it excellent? Where do I start? We were greeted by the lovely Sue and Coco at the beginning of our weekend getaway, and Sue's outgoing personality set the tone for the whole weekend. The gardens are amazing! We were given a guided tour by Sue and Coco and even got to take home some fresh fruit from the trees! We were provided with a cheese board, bubbly, a lovely 2 course dinner and a home cooked breakfast. Sue and Coco kept us company all weekend and nothing was too much of a bother! The rooms were so lovely and filled with exotic treasures. There was so much to do an see, such a unique experience! I would 100% recommend this place to anyone and everyone looking for a relaxing night away. Sue really goes above and beyond for her guests and she's a great laugh! We had such a fantastic weekend. Thank you so much for your hospitality Sue, Coco and Gary, I truly did enjoyed my stay.
