   I can’t rate Mat and his team high enough. We had a road accident due to a mechanical failure on the trailer causing the boat to come off the trailer. I had used Matcraft once before for some minor perectly matched gelcoat repairs, so they were my only choice for repairing the boat.. There was no structural damage, just cosmetic and fittings. These repairs are usually the hardest as it’s what you see. I have seen some poor repairs done on mates boats by so called professionals. All repairs were done with perfectly matched gelcoat, no paint. I am fussy how my gear looks and while initially talking with Matt at the start of the job, he said to me, I’ve done this before, when you get the boat back, you won’t even know its happened, which is exactly what I got. Another testimony to their workmanship was from the stainless guys who did the bow rail repair. They asked me why has such a new boat got such an old motor. The motor is still the original. Matt and his team took care of everything and arranged the new trailer. I have had several random comments at the boat ramp complementing me on the condition of the boat and how smart it looks. If you are in need of any type of boat repair and care about the final result and how it looks, Matt and his team at Matcraft are that guys to use. Thanks Matt for the great service and outstanding craftsmanship.

   Used Mat to repair my boat after a mishap with some rocks, very easy to deal with, helped with the insurance side of things to make it as quick and seamless as possible and repair was excellent (can’t tell I ever had a mishap) Highly recommend

   I rarely do negative reviews as we can all have bad days but felt it was needed this time, I was Unfortunate enough to have a bad experience here, I dropped my boat off to get a quote to tidy it up. I Agreed to the price to have everything done, then received a call a day after dropping it off saying it was going to be another 15% plus more even though it had been carefully inspected prior. I reluctantly agreed thinking it would be worth it. Then when I collected the boat 3 of the items highlighted had been missed and were originally discussed and agreed upon. This was met with an aggressive response from the owner, who said that it was going to cost me more again as more work was involved !! So after being charged another 15% I returned to collect the 2nd time and still found two items still hadn’t been touched. The Worse part is being made to feel like I’m the problem after paying nearly $3,000, very poor and disappointing experience.
