   I couldn’t have asked for better service than what I got from Timbers of New Zealand. Their sustainably sourced native timbers are a standout feature of our house both with cladding and flooring. They are worth considering wherever you are in New Zealand. There were no hassles getting our timber from Christchurch to Whangarei and it was still cheaper than buying locally.

   I had Timbers of NZ supply and install a jarrah parquet in the kitchen and dining area of our 70s architectural home and cork flooring in two bathrooms. They also supplied saligna to our joiner for benchtops and recycled rimu panelling for our kitchen ceiling. Angus led the project and the flooring installation was done by Campbell. The parquet was a labour of love but absolutely worth it. It looks stunning. Angus was knowledgeable and responsive to questions during the lead-up to the project and communicated proactively, honestly and politely during the work. He and Campbell showed absolute integrity when they front-footed a small amount of remediation work based on a minor alignment issue with the cork tiles. I'm really pleased to endorse and support Angus and Timbers of NZ.

   I recently purchased Australian hardwood Spotted Gum from Timbers of NZ, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The product is incredibly strong and looks absolutely stunning. They provided a detailed installation guide along with the appropriate screws, which made the whole process easy and seamless. The standout part of my experience was the exceptional customer service, particularly from Angus. He offered a variety of options and was incredibly helpful in guiding me to make an informed decision. I highly recommend Timbers of NZ above all others for their quality products and top-notch service.

   Timbers of NZ have been wonderful to work with, supplying about 100 sq. m. of miro for our new floor (beautifully laid by Andrew). This is now one to the key features of our house and gets many "Wows!". They also were most patient in fulfilling all my tricky requirements for NZ oak that I wanted to use on our front door and for facing inside the house. They supplied me with exactly what I wanted and I am now extremely pleased and proud of my contribution to the build. The oil/wax finishes they recommended have been really easy to use, & have made a beautiful surface for all this wood. Great bunch of people to deal with, with beautiful timber & finishes. Highly recommended!

   Terrible and embarrassing communication and follow up! Was promised a quote within a week in December '15 and took 4 months to finally get it after relentless calling and emailing, and then being asked for my plans again because they were misplaced (they had been orginally emailed) then I get an email a year and a half later "following up" with the quote. I sent an email back giving feedback on the lack of communication and was accused of not giving my plans till march 16. Which I then sent them a picture of them saying they printed my plan that week I came in. Incredibly disappointing and rude.
