   Please update the address and opening time. Too many people has been misled. The Consular Office address is 108 Hansons Lane, Upper Riccarton, Working time：Monday to Friday（Except Holidays）9：00——12：00, not open to public in the afternoon. Thank you.

   It was very easy to apply for my visa. I submitted my application on Tuesday, they asked for supporting documents, which I uploaded on Thursday. On Saturday, they said to come in for fingerprinting and to drop my passport off. I went in with hard copies of all documents I had submitted online because the instructions said to - they weren't needed, or even looked at. The staff member took her own copy of my passport. She was nice, telling me not to stress when my fingers wouldn't cooperate with the machine, and using kiwi-isms like awesome and sweet as. I was all done in about five minutes, now just have to wait until Wednesday for them to send my passport back.

   I would like to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation to the staff of the Consulate-General of the People’s Republic of China in Christchurch for their excellent service and assistance. My dad and I were visiting Queenstown when he misplaced his passport and we had to apply for a travel document urgently. We contacted the Consulate-General and they were very helpful and responsive. They guided us through the process of filling out the application form, submitting the required documents, and paying the fees. They also expedited our case and issued us a new passport within two days. Thanks to their professionalism and efficiency, we were able to continue our trip without any major disruption or hassle. I highly recommend the Consulate-General of the People’s Republic of China in Christchurch to anyone who needs consular services or support. They are friendly, courteous, and reliable. Thank you very much for your help! FYI we hold a chinese passport and valid Au PR visa

   Limited opening hours made it very difficult to actually get to speak to somebody over the phone. When I had tried almost all the contact details they have, I finally got to actually speak to somebody. The lady was short with me, rude and wouldn't put me through to the department I wanted to speak to.

   Very rude staff . My holiday visa was declined for no reason and they are not ready to give any explanations . basically i got robbed. they got me to book my tickets and hotel $3550 all paid for and now i dont no what to do. :((
