   BEWARE: if you order online, pay for your order and then are contacted about the product not being in stock don't expect your money to be refunded quickly. I am still waiting for my refund 4 weeks down the track. Btw this was my first interaction with this company and I will certainly never do business with them again. Appalling customer service!!!

   Love this place, and it's nice to have a bit of a chit-chat with the staff when the time is right. Even though there are other similar organic type food stores much closer to me, I will go there if time permits. Friendy, helpful & even getting in a food item for me without actually having to ask if they can get it, rather the staff member just responded promptly saying that she will order this for me, and other customers also, obviously. Little things like that is good old fashioned service (showing my age now) that I really appreciate. Love the energy in there also, just a really good vibe about the place. Nice displays too and good quality. And you all look very young by the way.

   Awesome experience. I came here on a Monday morning after dejectedly leaving Liberty Market, having been refused service when attempting to buy my groceries for the unforgivable sin of having a mask exemption. Not being able to wear a mask for medical reasons, I was unable to shop in Liberty Market's store for food when I came in on a Monday morning, and was asked to make an online booking time in order to come in and buy food (a functionality I later found is not even available on their website as promised!). I surmise that this option is perhaps simply offered in the moment by the staff at Liberty Market in order to placate those with mask exemptions, and avoid a fuss at the till without offering them an actual solution. I'll be bringing all of my business to Wholefoods on Riccarton Road from here on out, and have advised my mother to do the same. In addition to their lack of virtue signalling, the produce here at Wholefoods is also consistently fresher and I have noticed is restocked far more often than the produce at Liberty Market. An added bonus? Service was delivered with a smile. Keep on keeping on, guys! Yours, Another happy customer.

   Every time I visit this lovely but depressing store, I wonder when the owner of this store is going to take down the bullet proof 20mm thick glass wall cages that he makes his staff work behind, all to "protected worker and consumer from dangerous human interaction". What a depressing vibe and the workers although very lovely are also depressed as a result. Seeing this actually reminded me of what it must be like to interact with an inmate in jail, except there you have a telephone and at Whole Foods Market you get a small little opening in the glass, at waist level. When you talk with the lady behind the till, she cannot hear you, and you cannot hear her. What a depressing, crazy environment to work in ... and let alone shop at, despite glorious products lining the shelves. I feel sorry for the owner himself and his staff secondly. What could be tremendously beautiful is almost completely lacking in true vitality and aliveness (well, except for the veggies!).

   I've worked in organic whole foods /natural health for over 20 years so maybe I'm picky but if nobody says anything then nothing changes. This shop has pretty much zero customer service. They don't really understand this concept. No hello. No eye contact. No can I help you. They act like it's a supermarket and take a hands off approach. Actually even more of a reason to be helpfully but obviously not part of staff training. Every time I've been in there there is only me or one other person. Unfortunately it's bound to fail because I'm totally into organics, but until they start engaging with people who are buying their stuff they will not thrive.
