   I recently had a hair treatment (straightening and perm) with Future Angels, and it was fantastic! I absolutely love my hair after the treatment—it turned out exactly as I had envisioned. Thank you so much, Taeri, for the magical touch! You walked me through every step and gave me great tips on blow-drying and styling. The staff are lovely, and I had an overall wonderful experience.    Love their work! I've had Justin cut my hair back in April and Soi cut my hair this November. They both did a fantastic job, helped asvise me on what would be most flattering on me, and were thorough in their consultations. Justin recommended a treatment for my damaged ends which left it shiny and smooth again! Just enough to give it time to grow out. Soi did a lovely textured cut with the aim to get rid of some weight in the back of my crown and add more layers (which also got rid of most of the damaged/bleached hair). Her technique was mesmerising as every feather she did looked highly intentional.

   Don’t waste your time or your money!!! I went in for a balayage I had booked online and the price was stated as $260, but when it came time to pay I was charged $390 extra cost was for toner and hair drying which was not mentioned upfront when I booked. On top of the unexpected cost, I left the salon extremely disappointed and with the result. I asked for a very light, bright blonde balayage and provided several reference photos, but my hair looked almost the same as before (i’ve attached before and after photos). For the price I paid, I expected both clear communication around costs and a result that matched what I asked for. After expressing my disappointment, I was given a $90 refund, which I appreciate. However, even with the partial refund, I still paid more than I was originally quoted for a result that didn’t reflect what I asked for. Overall, I left feeling frustrated and unsatisfied with both the lack of transparency around pricing and the outcome of the service.

   EDIT: I was contacted by Lin who was lovely to talk to. She offered me three options: try again with the same hair dresser, try again with a different hair dresser, or get a refund. I chose the refund. She also offered me a free treatment which I thought was very kind. I will leave my review up but have updated my star rating. I feel terrible about writing this review, but I went in yesterday for a digital perm. I was there for five hours and after all of that, my hair was not permed. I have no idea what happened, and wasn't offered an explanation as to why my hair didn't perm. The hairdresser offered me to come back the following week., but I will not be taking up that offer if I have to pay again. After 5 hours and over $300+, my hair looks the exact same, save for a haircut which they charged me an extra $85 for (and didn't tell me how expensive it would be beforehand). I was offered a small discount (normal perm price vs digital perm price) but it was still way too expensive for not getting what I expected. I really really wanted this to work and I just feel like I wasted my time and money. Won't be coming back unfortunately :( Edited to add pics: before and after

   Tae is awesome! I’ve been to him three times now and every time he totally nails it — whether it’s a cut or colour. He just knows what suits me and always makes it look amazing. Super detailed, super skilled, and honestly, I trust him completely with my hair now. Can’t recommend him enough!

   I had my hair cut and permed here, and I was extremely satisfied. The staff member was Korean and performed the service with great care, so I am very pleased. It reminds me of a Korean hair salon vibe and the service is excellent.

   I had a an appointment for cut, treatment and balayage with Justin. From start to finish the whole process was fantastic. The salon is beautiful, clean and modern. I was offered coffee, my coat was hung up and they even gave me some snacks to nibble on during the colour. My hair looks amazing, I am very happy with the result even though it did take a long time, it was definitely worth it. Will be back soon and have recommended to all my friends. Thank you!

   Such a beautiful place, very clean, and aesthetic. All staff was so lovely, kind, and welcoming! Justin gave me a hair care treatment, the service was really good! My hair feels and looks so much healthier than it was before. I highly recommend this place, I am very happy and satisfied and I will definitely be coming back again for hair care treatment!! :))
