   I often come here to have coffee, but today I felt that the staff seemed unfriendly and unwilling to serve. They looked like they were angry at someone and didn’t smile at all. It made me feel scared.

   Red Cafe is a wonderful cafeteria built into the Halswell pool and Halswell community library. You can access it without paying to enter the swimming pool. It has a great range of hot and cold food plus an awesome range of hot and cold drinks. Everything is available in dine in or takeaway. The coffee us great and the cakes/slices are delicious. There's plenty of seating. Parking is 100% not an issue. The staff are super-friendly and there is never much of a wait. The complex is peaceful and quiet (it's a library!) So its never crowded or hectic... what a great place to relax. Red cafe is small but not underwhelming... I love the hot chocolates and cakes. You'll not be disappointed with the quality or the prices.

   Lovely quiet friendly cafe. I was welcomed by a lovely friendly lady, who was patient while I decided on my order. Wait time was very minimal and despite current circumstances was very chatty and shared a laugh about disinfecting the table and seat due to current circumstances. Lovely relaxing music, quiet cafe, will be back again!!
