   ⚠️ I do not recommend this cafe if you have dietary requirements ⚠️ I visited Cream Eatery for my birthday brunch and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. When ordering, I asked if my poached eggs could be swapped for scrambled eggs, as I am currently pregnant and cannot eat runny or undercooked egg yolk. This request was refused. I then asked for no hollandaise sauce for the same reason, due to it containing raw egg, and staff seemed uncomfortable with this request and told me I could only have the hollandaise served on the side rather than removed entirely. I have never experienced this issue at other cafes and would consider swapping poached eggs for scrambled eggs a very reasonable request. Because of this, I ordered poached eggs “well done” to ensure they were fully cooked. However, when my meal arrived, the yolks were still runny. I had to send the dish back, and by the time it was returned with the eggs properly cooked, everyone else at the table had already finished eating. This completely disrupted my birthday meal and made the experience upsetting. By that point, the food was unappealing and I didn’t end up eating my meal at all. What should have been an enjoyable birthday celebration was instead stressful and disappointing. I also find it concerning that the menu states, “Please tell us if you have any allergies,” yet reasonable dietary requirements, particularly those related to pregnancy and food safety were not accommodated or handled appropriately.

   The food here is SO GOOD. I had the reuben and my mum had the croque monsieur - we were both raving about them all day afterwards. The drinks are also impeccable - cant recommend the blondie enough and mum loved the mocha!

   Could easily have been 5 stars, but a long wait for food and unfortunately the mushrooms on flatbread were so salty they were inedible. Coffee was near perfect and other meals purchased at the same time were great.

   Delicious food and coffee! We came here after reading the local reviews and weren’t disappointed. The portion sizes were generous, so much so, we shared between 2. It’s clearly a popular spot with locals and had a really lovely vibe/atmosphere about it. Would definitely come back here.

   Visited for breakfast on a Saturday and everyone in our group agreed that this was one of the best breakfasts we've ever had. The dishes are creative but not over the top. The flavours were well paired and the food was cooked perfectly. We will certainly visit any time we're in Hamilton.

   I really like this place, the atmosphere is laid back and chilled, and the staff were bubbly and friendly. The food was fresh and had good portions, it was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. There was also a small corner of merchandise and other small products. It was interesting to look at. Overall a very good time.
