Named in honour of Edgar Hika MacIntosh, Chch City Surveyor, who was instrumental in encouraging developers to set aside land for parks/recreation. Fabulous park and great for on or off leash (under effective control) dog walking. Paved or hard walkways and a lovely kids playground and paddling pool with shady areas.

Great place to have a walk (morning or evening) alone or with dog.
A very well looked after cricket ground, two pitches on the go, plenty of space but could do with more seating around the perimeter and somewhere to escape the wind. A wonderful place to watch cricket.
Good park to go jogging, walking or walk or run the dog. Dogs need to be under control at all times. Very muddy at moment with winter rugby games.
Great place for doggos and pokemon go and to get fresh air in general. NZKilla and Wednesday and Kontroll are my worst enemies.
Nice place for kids
Great place for dogs, and the playground is pretty solid for a suburban park. Not bad at all.
