Brought some cream buns today 17/07/2025 made yesterday 16/07/2025 expires tomorrow 18/07/2025. . . .buns were stale, do better next time. I never go there, today was the day, wont be going back there again lol
Bought a chicken-filled ciabatta sandwich today from the bakery. I didn't get to see its condition until I got home; the bun was burnt on top, there was hardly any filling, no mayo, and it was very dry. Very disappointing, as I've purchased them before. Had I noticed it before leaving the store, I would have asked for an exchange. And yes I have a photo I forgot to put it on this post
Good range of choice for produce. Aisles are tight and some displays narrow the space more.
I don’t usually shop here. I prefer Countdown and tonight I remember why. I found an item that was one day past its best before date. I asked if I could purchase it anyway, at a discount. Instead the manager snatched it out of my hand and stated that they can’t sell it and walked away. Rude. Seems New World would rather throw food in the bin. Staff at Countdown are lovely. They discount food to move it instead of wasting it and have never been rude and have a community spirit.
I like shopping there as it has everything I need. The staff are awesome and it's nice and clean. I don't buy produce except for broc an apples for my rabbit, the veges are way to expensive. I now buy frozen veges. Huge big car park go check them out
This is definitely one of the best Supermarkets around and that includes Hamilton. Conveniently located on the main road, this clean, well-organised store also has friendly, helpful staff, which help to make this a worthwhile, quick and easy stop even if you are just passing through Morrinsville. Added bonus of being able to charge your Electric Vehicle EV if you have one while you shop.
