   Had lunch was really looking forward to some salad. Disappointed that no salads on the menu. Actually didn't think much of the menu. Asked what the chefs special was, and after going to ask waitress said there wasn't one. What I finally did order was pretty average ,my friend's however was nice.

   Great food, great service, great outlook, clean toilets. Back again September 2025 and still the same brilliant service and quality food. Today we have poached eggs on toast with hash brown and coffee was great. So has to be 5 stars for everything. Plenty of seating inside and outside under cover but might pay to reserve a table in the winter as it so popular.

   Wonderful cafe food. Especially enjoyed the potato layers with cheese melted and freshly made tomato sauce. So yummy. The decorations panels on the ceiling were lovely and we finished with a happy walk round the garden centre and bought some flowers.

   Personally the coffee is served on the small size and not very nice, weird taste so just didn’t drink it. Chilli Mac and cheese amazing but slow to arrive, came after my friends order and then only when she complained. Garden centre is lovely but very expensive

   Had french toast there this week. Huge plate with appropriate portions of food, unfortunately the whole dish was swimming/drowning in what I assume was maple syrup and the bacon/banana/F Toast then covered in icing sugar! Three people at the table I was at ordered this dish and none of us were impressed. Would have been far better with the syrup on the side and no icing sugar. Cinnamon would have been a better sprinkle over the top! This is the first time from several visits to the cafe that I've been disappointed. The food is usually outstanding. I've never tried French Toast before and I came away feeling like I'd just had pancakes or waffles.

   We were slightly hesitant to come here after reading some of the reviews, but were pleasantly surprised by both the service and the food. The garden center attached to the cafe is also lovely.

   The cafe prices was a bit of a let down. I think it's really pricey for a standard meal or cabinet food option. I should have looked at the reviews before heading down there however the seating service was spot on. The gift store and nursery connected to the cafe was beautiful! Would I visit the cafe again ,problably not but I will definately visit the garden centre again
