   Warning to other customers that if you pay for your food with pay wave Burgerfuel will make you pay a surcharge for it, most companies absorb the pay wave surcharge but there are those like Burgerfuel that don't and that's where unaware customers get caught out like me, if the company doesn't want to pay the surcharge for paywave transactions then don't expect the customer to do so either...in my opinion the burgers that are served at Burgerfuel have too much dressings of different types of sauces in them and not enough salad, I do enjoy the tasty chips though that come with a dipping sauce which makes it easier for the customer to control how much sauce they want to use is the option I like best...another issue is I have encountered a polite young girl that works at Te Awamutu Burgerfuel who serves with piercings scattered around her face this shouldn't be allowed in a company like Burgerfuel where food is handled due to the potential for physical and bacterial contamination maybe the manager should be taking more notice of this issue...anyway because of these issues I have seen with Burgerfuel my interest In their food has diminished, I have spread my customer buying to other take away food outlets because there are so much options out there to explore...all the best Burgerfuel.

   I grabbed the V8 veggie & chips. It was absolutely perfect! I loved that we were there early, so the restaurant was very quiet. Bonus points for the cardboard burger holder - I wish every burger came with one of these!!!!

   The service was excellent. The staff patiently waited for us to decide, even though we took our time. We ordered the American Muscle, which came with a double patty, and our food arrived in about 5–10 minutes—a reasonable time frame considering there were only three other customers in the store. The food was great—no complaints. The chips could have been cooked a bit longer, but overall, it was a fantastic experience.
