I took my CAS unit into BM Automotive after being told they could fix it. I explained the exact symptoms and even mentioned I had already replaced the relay. * **Days went by** with no contact. * I had to chase them, only to be told they were *just starting* to test the circuits. * Another day went by, still nothing, until I rang again and was told they were βwaiting on a relayβ β even though I had already fitted a working one. More days passed, and again **not a single phone call from them**. Every update I got was because I rang or texted them first. After over a week of waiting, I went in personally on a Friday to collect the unit. Only then did I find out β without my permission β it had already been sent away to Hamilton. That wasted even more time. I was told it would be back Monday. * Monday came: no contact, no update. * I went in again β not there. * Tuesday came: still nothing, again I had to call them myself. In total, my car was kept off the road for **a week and a half** purely because of delays, silence, and decisions they made without even asking me. Not once did I get a courtesy call, not once did they update me on their own. The complete lack of communication and respect for the customer is shocking. I wasted days and days waiting for answers that never came, and the only reason I knew anything at all is because I chased them up every single time. .... > As for your response β of course it was free, because you didnβt actually do anything to it apart from sending it away without asking for my permission first. When I came in, I specifically asked if *you guys could fix it*, not whether youβd send it off to someone else β someone I couldβve just gone to myself and saved paying a commission. > > If you were going to send it away, you should have told me. I clearly asked that you let me know how much it would cost **before** doing anything with it. Iβm not trying to be difficult, but thatβs just basic communication and fairness. > > And thatβs exactly what you said β that youβd rather deal with things face-to-face people don't have time to come in and talk to you face to face I talk to you face to face but when I did came in and talk to you to explain what the problem was and to tell you that the relay had been replaced it was brand new and working And it wasn't the problem because if you bridged it it would start the car So why would you order a new one before sending it to an electrician to have fixed ? Scott was incredibly impressed when he met Anthony. He greeted me with a warm disposition and shook my hand. i needed a part replacing in my BMW and when i spoke to Anthony it wasn't a problem as had the part in stock. I'm very pleased with how he replaced the part and the car service. When the time came to pick up the car, Anthony showed me the part that he took out and replaced and explained in detail how it works. He gave me a detailed paper invoice and emailed me one as well with pictures of the car and the engine and the new part in. Anthony is a great guy. I was impressed also that he put a clean sheet over my sheet as it has on my plush Sheep wool cover on the seat. I had a Awesome experience at BM Autobahn I will be back next time to get my car serviced by Anthony. Scott McGregor.

As first time, fussy customers, we called upon BM Autobahn to render several repair services for our NZ new BMW 325i. Our pristine BMW was well cared for by BM Autobahn (Julian), right down to the use of carpet and seat service covers. BM Autobahn also provided safe, indoor overnight storage of the vehicle. All the work required was sorted with excellent communication and itemised labour/parts costings. There were no surprises and the costs were substantially cheaper than the local BMW agent. Julian and BM Autobahn: I have two 335is which if your reading this review you know that means double trouble, they had always been serviced by BMW only, I'm very picky and want things done by the book to keep the cars running how BMW manufactured them. A friend of mine put me onto Julian after I had one car with a failed water pump and one with a misdiagnosed battery cable failure, one car arrived on a tow truck and left driving within two days, and the other car with the battery cable is now working perfectly with two new wheel speed sensors fitted. I was very hesitant to take my cars anywhere other than BMW but I hope this will put your mind at ease. Julian the owner is very friendly and welcoming and has an encyclopedic knowledge of all things BMW, he can be trusted with your pride and joy, your weekend toy or your family wagon, BM Autobahn has the skills and tools to rectify any BMW fault I will always take my cars there from now on. Workshop cleanliness: 4/5 same as BMW Friendly, profesional service: 5/5 Hourly Rate: 5/5 Reliable fast turn around: 5/5 Likelyhood of your car being damaged while being in their care 0/5 The bottom line is you should have no hesitation to take your vehicle to BM Autobahn, great service, great price.
