I have today tried to return curtains purchased online to the store in Hamilton on the corner of Clarence Street and Tristram Street however they refused as they couldn't find my online order in their system. I provided my invoice, proof of payment which showed full amount paid and my card details. It also showed my full name, address, phone number and email. The first lady even chose to pop lollies while serving me, very unprofessional. I proceeded to show her on their website while in store where it stated online orders could be returned to store for a refund, exchange or credit but she still refused. Constantly telling me I needed an account number. I am unsure what else I could give this female other than all the documentation I had from my order which was a confirmation of order, an invoice and delivery dockets. I was left to feel very awkward in the store as 3 members of staff argued about whether to refund me or not with 2 staff refusing out right and very loudly while a 3rd lady suggested that the customer be sorted and it handled via their head office to sort out their internal issues. I have prior to this experience ordered 2 other pairs of curtains and now wish I hadn't bothered at all given the events of today. Your staff have NO customer service skills at all and I am certain that I will never be having anything to do with your Company again. I will also ensure I share my experience with others.

Margaret was excellent. She measured and showed me all the options for my windows. I chose the automated blinds, and they look amazing. When one of them had issues, she was promptly there to get it sorted for me. She advised me on the carpet, and I will look into that in the future. I highly recommend Margaret from Curtain Studio for honest and clear advice.

We paid in full for our curtains in early November and were told it would be 4 week. After 4 weeks had passed we followed up with the store to find out when install would be, to discover the curtains were never ordered, no real apology and was told it would now be a further 2 months due to Christmas. We challenged this and after much follow up on our end, talking to many different people the curtains were installed 7 weeks after payment. The install was rushed and the curtains were installed very wrinkly. We were told by the installer that the curtains were like that and I could call the store and they may be able to send someone to steam them but it would be in 3-4 weeks. The gathering on the curtains was also very uneven. On top of that were found they were installed with no draw cords, which we would have never had agreed to as the last rooms that CS had done were the exact same curtains. There is more to say but I give up. Amazingly bad company to deal with. Had planned on doing another 5 rooms with them plus carpet.

Horrible customer service for both curtain and worse for carpet. We got quotes done for curtains by a lovely lady who no longer works for the company and our details must have been passed on to her delegate. We tried to contact the new person, no answer no call backs. It has been weeks. Got this done by Harrisons, who were very prompt. Booked an appointment with them for a carpet quote and the lady from this branch was to come and take measurements, never showed up for the booked time. No contact made from them. Why even have a shop to waste everyoneβs time? The industry you guys are operating has customers who may be working with deadlines. Just be upfront and transparent with your customers or hire better staff. Definitely would not recommend this business to anyone and I really should have checked the older reviews before visiting your store.

What an absolute joke this place is! I have been in to this store three times now, today is the last time at this branch! The customer service skills need to improve along with the availability of samples. Majority of the samples I chose were not available and the excuse is "they are not returned to store from customers" or "we don't know where they are" this is not good enough and is not professional at all. Sort it out Curtain Studio Hamilton!

Great, knowledgeable staff. BUT be prepared for their Head Office to demand payment in full before they'll install your curtains. Never encountered this practice anywhere else and not at all impressed - hence three stars.

We usually go there and get normal service. But the new assistant manager was very helpful when getting a sheer curtain. She knew everything about curtains and guided us giving tricks and information. Thank you for the awesome friendly staff experience.

Extremely poor response from both the in home consultant and the shop manager who I spoke to following my complaint. We had a free in home consultation in May and because we live in a country town had to pay $35 to return samples by courier. I contacted this person with our selection and still heard nothing. Rang store manager 3 weeks later and to date have heard from neither person. Very bad customer service and would not use or recommend this store to anyone. I have since had a response from a national manager who has been very obliging and empathetic with my concerns and has addressed the matters raised thank you
