   Unfortunately we had a terrible experience with this company. A box of precious family photographs in frames with fragile written ALL over it got completely smashed. Fridge had a big dent put into it. Walls damaged. Absolutely no care factor. When you are paying someone to come and move furniture, you expect them to get it from a to b safely. I would have moved everything myself if I knew how unprofessional and disrespectful this company was. Really guttered. Do not recommend.

   Dave, Mojo and Eli provided a great service. I had to cancel just the day before due to Covid and there was no problem in rearranging another day. The team were well organised, completing two local trips in just over 5 hours. Nothing was damaged and that included a prickly 2m high cacti! We will definitely be calling Dave again, as soon as our house is built. Thanks guys.

   David and his team have moved us across town a couple of times and every time they make the move fast and easy. His team are always accommodating and worked with our family to ensure all the heavy items were well packed and where we wanted them before they left. If you are looking to move within Tauranga, give Able 2 Movers a call.

   Everything was all good with this company until the day before the move. Deposit paid, confirmation received via text, so I thought we were all good to go. The day before the move was due to take place, I text Dave to make sure things were sorted (having not heard from him in a while). No reply to text. Slightly concerning, but I didn't think much of it. Later that evening I text again, only to have Dave call me back (7.30pm at this point) to be told that he had double booked and would be in Wellington the next day, so couldn't do my across-town move in the morning. Ahhh....ok. No real apology or explanation, just 'oh yeah we double booked'. On an already stressful night, that was all we needed. I would have given one star, but he did organise a replacement moving company, who did a good job (albeit they couldn't come until many hours later, which meant I had to spend the evening - meant to be packing - calling around our carpet cleaner and house purchaser to ensure they were ok with the later move). Apparently this was the second 're-book' of Dave's they'd had to shift that day, and it's not the first time it's happened. So either Able2Move's booking system is archaic, or (more likely) he just decides to take jobs that pay more $$, regardless of who's already booked. Movers beware - you want someone more reliable to take the stress away from this time, not add more.
