   Visited the store on last Thursday to purchase a pair of jeans. Josh suggested to check the outlet store. Found a pair of jeans which I purchased for$85. Tried the jeans on at home with shirt to wear to a 50th. Decided the jeans didn't go with the shirt. I went back to the outlet store to exchange for other clothing. I was the told that no exchanges and that the policy was printed on my receipt. I asked for talk to the manager who also said No despite the fact that that I have spent a lot of money in that store over several years. I work as a retail Manager who focuses on customer service and I am appalled at the lack of service and the lack of recognition for loyal customers. I will not be shopping there again.

   Came in last Wednesday after school with my son who has started skateboarding. I have never skated and am clueless! The guy working was brilliant and i feel terrible I did not catch his name but it was around 4pm on the 24th. First shop we'd been to where someone spoke to my son and not just me. Gave him tons of advice about what he would need, how he can upgrade what he already had, where to practice and where to avoid. Chatted to him for ages and was not pushy at all. We left and my son has been asking to go back since so he can talk to him about what to spend his savings on. Such great customer service and honestly so nice to go somewhere where my child wasn't ignored! He said he only wants to get his skate gear from there so he gets good advice..... I guess we'll back very soon!

   This store is happy to take a customer's money, sunglasses last a week and when asked for a refund to buy a better pair (was willing to spend almost triple the amount of the original pair) all of a sudden it needs to be "reviewed" in order to get a refund maybe a week or 2 later. And they can clearly see no evidence of negligence on the pair of Sunny's. Nice guys, I think I'll take my money somewhere else. Cheers

   Got the last of my Christmas gifts for the teenagers here on Friday afternoon, staff was all very friendly and helpful! Was served by Joshua very nice guy with great customer service. Good job staff at Backdoor Papamoa Plaza! Keep it up!

   This morning was my third visit to the Papamoa Domin branch. As always, the service is second to none and super relaxed. In saying that, a mix of observation and a great attention to customer needs really caught me by surprise this morning. I do not write reviews but the two lovely young ladies who served me deserves a top notch novel about their great customer service skills and to also acknowledge that they both went above and beyond. The two lovely young ladies have asked if I needed help, both came over and asked 10 minutes apart. When I was asked the second time, I replied, and showed the young lady which item i was interested in and i went straight into the dressing room to try on my rash vest. I tried on my rash vest and have decided i will take the item to the checkout, but was still uncertain as the item was still loose and not fastened around my body. On the counter of the checkout, I see there was another item with two sizes down. One of the young ladies asked again if I was happy with the rash vest size, I replied, do you have something smaller?.... They both knew that I was punching above my weight with an XL size rash vest. And also asked me to go try on the Medim size just to make sure it was really my fit. You both have made my day, thank you :) FYI - Two young ladies start shift on the morning of 27/01/2019. Ps, I love my rash vest.
