Terribly rude staff, especially the middle aged lady with the short brown hair. Rudely telling a customer off for placing a (very light) bag of produce on the top of some mandarins for less than 30 seconds. How else are people meant to pick produce, especially when the doorway and aisles are filled with others? I donβt want to trip others over with my bag on the floor, do I? Also, I really doubt your produce will be damaged by a bag with two apples in it. Left a very poor taste in my mouth. Wonβt be back. I recommend growers direct down the road, way better service there.
Next to KOSCO, there are lots of vegetables and fruits, which are arranged very neatly and clearly. There is no peculiar smell in the store, and it feels very comfortable to enter. The service staff are very friendly, and there is free parking. The boss is really dedicated to running the business.
Brought some mandarins called Dandy Mandy seedless and sweet but I just happen to have one so did a few other family members they all had seeds and were not sweet at all.
The affordability of this shop for veges and fruits is unmatched. No matter how extensively I've searched throughout Christchurch, I have yet to find prices lower than those offered here. The efficient and friendly staff add an extra layer of satisfaction to the shopping experience.
The best place for fresh fruits and veggies. They pretty much have everything. The price isn't too bad compared to other places.
