   Hired a trailer to get a cube of macrocarpa as advertised on the website. They didn't have any. Brought a cube of 'dry' pine instead; it's wet. More than 'seasoned' 'only rain wet', couldn't start the fire with fire lighters.

   Was sold a load of wet wood by them. Wet wood is a nightmare for us, as it just doesn't ignite or burn with heat. It's been a huge hassle.

   We have just installed a log burner fire so need a supply of firewood for next winter. We did some online investigation and decided Macrocarpa Supplies were a good option. There staff were friendly and helpful. The wood is dry and well seasoned and the price reasonable. Slabs are a reasonable size with no sawdust or other debris. We brought Blue Gum with a bit of Macrocarpa mixed in. The proof will be how it burns next winter.
