Have been with Kristy from Fox Hair since last year. So very happy with her expertise and professionalism on hair styling and coloring. I’ve received tonnes of compliments on my super short pixie and the coloring - ash, with highlights. Kristy is so accommodating with last minute schedule change requests. I made the right choice with Haruka cutting my long hair. At the beginning we had a consultation to discuss what looks best step by step and Haruka shared her knowledge and experience! My highlight was that she asked the right questions straight away without me even telling her how I would like to have my hair look like. Went to Shane for the first time recently, he gave me THE BEST haircut I've EVER had, seriously.
I have wavy/curly hair so I’m always looking for a hairdresser who knows what they’re doing. Well, I found him! I never had my hair cut with SO much attention and detail. Shane is very gentle, listens well and is just great at his job!
I cannot speak highly enough about this salon. After nearly 2 years of looking for a hair stylist who “got” me, I have found the one. I wish I had gone there sooner ! I walked in to book for next week and ended up getting a cut and colour this afternoon. Now, I’m not the easiest of clients in that I didn’t actually know what I wanted apart from some very vague indications, which must be the worst for a hair styler to encounter. But Kristy listened, and managed to decipher it exactly! She basically took me and my very grown out hair on and said “ I’m going to do what I feel you want” and boy did she what! I also got a ton of good advice on my hair and product to use. Yes we all do, but she’s a hair doctor! Im utterly delighted with my cut and colour and now, finally, I feel I have confidence in a hairdresser again. These guys are seriously good!
Lyndsay is the most expert colourist and cutter in Christchurch. She has been caring for my blonde hair for many years, and is better than stylists abroad. Expert, high-end styling, definitely recommend. Book in advance.
I have been going to Jun at Fox for over 10 years now so I thought it was time I wrote a review! He is amazing at listening to what you want and discussing this using photos to be sure he understands exactly what you want. Also, he uses organic products and a Dyson hairdryer. Jun cuts all my family's hair. We all enjoy our visits to see him. He's super friendly and a really lovely man.
Dry hair cut with Shane. Really appreciated Shane's friendly, down to earth manner and healthy philosophy. Salon is airy and calm despite being busy. No heavy perfumes or chemical smells. Very happy with the cut.
I saw Lyndsay for a massive hair change and she was so lovely! Talked me through it all and was super supportive. She did an amazing job and I'm so so happy with my new hair! Couldn't recommend her enough!
