Wren was so helpful we had a fantastic day out despite the poor weather towards the end. We came to the island with no idea but Wren was very kind and took the time to recommend places as well as explain the public transport. Lovely worker.
Three of us excitedly stopped by the Fullers360 Matiatia ticket office to grab our tickets to Waiheke Island. As we approached, we noticed there was only one person ahead of us in line, which was a pleasant surprise! However, once we reached the counter, we quickly realized we were in for a bit of a challenge. The lady behind the desk seemed rather disengaged and wasn’t particularly enthusiastic about helping us. Instead of providing the information we needed, she just handed me a piece of paper with the ferry schedule on it. Feeling a bit lost, I turned to a gentleman who appeared to be part of the ferry crew to ask for some guidance. Thankfully, he was much more approachable and provided the assistance we needed. It’s clear that the customer service at this ticket office could use some significant improvement. A little friendliness and willingness to share information would go a long way in enhancing the experience for future travelers!
Great trip to Matiatia from Auckland. Safe and quick (40 minutes). It was full, but we did find seats, even though they weren't together. Nevertheless, it was an enjoyable and comfortable ferry journey to Waiheke Island!
Quick and easy experience at this location. The views outside the office were stunning, and everything was well organised. The ferry could do with a window clean for better views for the passengers.

It was an enjoyable ferry ride to and from Waiheke. Love the deck of the ferry but it does get a little chilly up there.
What a great service Staff were all friendly helpful, working out the best way we could save money & enjoy our day on the island, they went far beyond what we all agreed were brilliant staff to the company Bus clean , easy to use getting off & on. even though the buses were packed no one was pushy etc on board Thank you for the service
Excellent ferry service to Waiheke Island. It leaves from Pier Two on the Auckland waterfront every 30 minutes and takes about 35 - 40 minutes to get to Waiheke. It costs $42 for a return ticket. Gold card holders go free off-peak. The boats themselves are large and spacious with comfy seating. They have both upstairs and downstairs areas. Most of the seating is indoors, but there is plent of space to stand outside in the deck to get photos of all the great views during your trip. The crew were professional, welcoming and helpful. This was a great adventure, my only regret is that I hadn't done it sooner. Highly recommended.
Very busy today. They couldn't fit us on the 10:30 even though we arrived early. Squeezed is onto the 11:00am. Smooth journey but still arrived a little late.
