A busy modern facility that acts as a major access to Waiheke. The wharf is a commuter hub also which is evidenced by the amount of parking space that has been developed nearby and parking ticket kiosks.

Very disappointed with the ferry service. We arrived early for the ferry from Waiheke Island to Auckland and waited in line for over 30 minutes. However, the ferry left, taking only select passengers with no explanation. Despite having pre-purchased tickets, we were left stranded in the wind, and the next ferry wasn’t for another hour. There was no warning about limited seating, and staff made no effort to explain the situation or assist passengers. This is completely without any respect for a paid service.
