Mr. Shah was absolutely fantastic! He made me feel so at ease during my driving test, and his clear instructions really helped me showcase my skills. Super professional and friendly - I'm so glad I had him on my test! He absolutely deserves to be recognised as one of the best testing officers at VTNZ Tawa, he's set the bar high for others to follow!
I guess third time is a charm because I finally passed my test, all thanks to Mr. Zahoorshah. I just wanted to give a shout-out to my driving instructor because he made me feel much more comfortable and confident when I was quite nervous at the start. I believe that my driving test was much more easier because he was very relaxed, patient and friendlier. He pointed ways I could improve my performance which was very helpful. Not only that but he spoke in a positive tone, which to me was very encouraging. He’s definitely a great driving instructor who deserves much recognition and respect for having a great customer service.
I have had an amazing experience in my recent visit to VTNZ for my full driving test. Staff is polite, friendly and supportive in every aspect. Place is clean and full of resource availability. I would like to thank my testing officer, Mr Varinder especially for being very motivating and polite throughout my driving. He was supportive and allowed me to feel comfortable. he gave instructions well before time to gave me enough time to react, so would highly recommend him. Overall, it has always been an amazing experience at this place.
Today was a great day, I passed my driving test after failing a few times. Just taking the driving test but still very nervous and worried. But really thank you from the bottom of my heart Mr. Shah, like my father, with his professionalism and dedication helped me calm down and encouraged me in time when handling situations that happened on the road during the driving test. Mr. Shah, definitely deserves to be the most desired testing officer at VZTA Tawn
Came down Saturday morning, opened at 7.30am..Had line cars waiting already so pays be early. Great customer service and communication..Tidy business with clean waiting area, free coffee with cool bee hive houses out the front.. Highly recommend..
I had my practical test yesterday with Varinder. What an awesome testing officer! He explained my errors perfectly and suggested me ways to improve. Always heard negative things about testing officers and VTNZ. But this was a great experience for me.
The only positive part of this experience was the lovely receptionist. I was made aware of the wait time and I had no problem waiting, I however was not prepared for the 2.5 hour wait. As I was waiting in the queue I watched a series of unprofessional behaviours take place that I wish I had taken photos of. I watched one car go in, where the driver then got out and was talking to the inspectors as they went about their jobs, with what also seemed like the inspectors were encouraging the conversation. I then waited even longer as the two cars in front of me were finished and driven forward where I was waiting another 15 minutes because one of the inspectors disappeared all together. Once my car was taken in, I moved over to the waiting area where I saw even more unprofessionalism. I watched the two inspectors having what seemed to be a laugh and a joke as my car sat there for what seemed to be almost 10 minutes before the man continued. I witnessed them have multiple unrelated conversations throughout the during of my car being inspected. There was a car that was taken in at the same time as my own, and because of the continued conversations and muck arounds, my car took 15 minutes longer. I will not be coming back to this VTNZ.
Awesome staff, very good testing officer, Mr. Varinder. He is a gem, polite and motivational. I would recommend this place. Why to go out when you have best place in your home town.
Long queues all the time throughout the day and different days of the week. ON the day I was there, one of the staff was coughing and sounded very sick. She sat behind but located in the middle of the couters. She sounded really sick. She should really stay away from work or wear a mask. The other staff who served me was helpful. It was around 9am in the morning, the carpark spaces and arrangement were simply chaotic in front and on the side of the building. You got vehicles come in from all directions and from both ends of the drive way, for those who were not there to do a Wof/Cof inspections, you can park along side the building but the only way out is to reverse out, but this is also using the same lane where other cars come in for Wof etc. Not to mention all the large truck and trailers occupying other two lanes. There should be better signages for incomg vehicles on where to go and park. Otherwise it's just an accident waiting to happen. It does look like the have another new building being set up to take on extra vehicles. Until then, I would be going to VINZ down the road and on other side of the railroad simply for safety reasons.
Worst customer service I’ve had. The lady who is working on the overseas driving license conversion is so rude and no attention on providing customer service. She is trying so hard to made your day as hard as she can (not sure why). She send a false report to NZT reporting I am unable to see. Don’t visit VTNZ ever. You pay for their salaries and this is how you receive the worst customer service.
