Five years ago, I had the pleasure of getting my car tinted, and to this day, I am delighted to report that the tinting job has exceeded my expectations. Despite enduring various weather conditions, the tint remained intact without any signs of peeling or fading. Recently, a heartwarming incident involving my 12-year-old daughter brought back memories of the exceptional service provided by Tint a Car. While picking up my daughter and her friend after school last week, a conversation about a collection of sticks in the car sparked a flood of memories. My daughter fondly reminisced about her little exhibition of sticks, collected weekly from her dance lessons, which she used to proudly display on the inside window of the car when she was just 7 years old. However, when we brought the car in for tinting, we were informed that the sticks had to be removed, resulting in disappointment and tears from my daughter. The staff handled this emotional moment with immense compassion and understanding. Upon returning to collect the car, not only was the tinting job flawlessly executed, but the staff also went above and beyond by surprising my daughter with a stack of new princess stickers. Their thoughtful gesture not only turned my daughter's tears into joy but also touched my heart deeply. The level of care and consideration shown by the staff is truly commendable. Despite the passage of time, her fond memory of their kindness speaks volumes about the impact of their exceptional service. Disappointed. I asked for the front windows to be tinted to match the factory rear windows. As you can see in the photos, they don't. I was thinking black instead of blue mirror. I also got clear film put on the bonnet and bumper. There's a significant bubble on the bonnet where something was covered without discussion and the bumper has many air bubbles. I would've expected that a car enthusiast with experience in the game would've advised issues before proceeding. I gave opportunities to remedy or refund but he wasn't having a bar of it. He said that the blue was in the Mitsubishi window, and also everybody else tinting windows in TGA are cowboys. The car was dropped off and picked up by the wife and this was taken advantage of. The wife was told "the paint is a bit rough" on collection, but that was it. I've since had the windows redone at Kellan Window Tinting successfully (photos 6&7).
The most fantastic customer service, if I could rate 6 stars I would. The communication is fantastic and the product is great. We also had brilliant advice on which product to use. Highly recommend. Thanks team!!
Highly Recommended. These guys were awesome to deal with and do great tints. They have just replaced mine that were poorly done last year by a cowboy. They did my wife's car a few years ago and they still look like the day they put them on.

This is the place to go for car tints, they do all the quality car dealers in Tauranga as they are simply the best. Real attention to detail, best materials and a real commitment to a great quality job. Not the cheapest but sure worth the extra. Beware there are some cheap and nasty products out there.. Don't be filled go to the best.
