    We have been renting for over 25 years, and this has been by far the most unprofessional and appalling experience we've ever had. When we first met Tony during an inspectionβ€”our first and only interactionβ€”she was friendly and seemed willing to address our concerns. We raised an urgent issue regarding the rainwater cartridge filters, which had not been replaced frequently enough. As a result, the cold water pressure is so low that our showers are almost entirely hot water. The water smells so bad that we don’t feel comfortable drinking it, cooking with it, or even washing dishes in it. With four children, including two babies, this is unacceptable. Tony assured us the issue would be resolved immediately, stating that the landlords had funds set aside for maintenance. There was no mention of needing owner approval first. Yet, after nearly two weeks and multiple emails with no response, my wife called Tonyβ€”only to be met with extreme rudeness. Tony was so dismissive and short with my wife that she was left in tears, unable to even finish her questions. My wife, who is Russian, has lived here for over eight years and has never experienced such disrespect from a Kiwi. In our combined 30 years of renting, every other property manager we’ve dealt with has been professional, understanding, and fair. This experience has been a shocking contrast. I sincerely hope this is a misunderstanding, but regardless, it does not excuse such unprofessional and unacceptable behavior.

    Our experience with the agency has evolved since they took over our rental property a couple of months ago. Initially, we had a positive impression, but we've encountered some challenges recently. When we first met our new property manager Toni, she was lovely and bubbly, very nice to our face. She seemed supportive and promised to get everything sorted. We shared our concerns regarding past maintenance issues that had not been addressed for a long time, and we emailed her about some specific maintenance problems. After getting no response, we ended up fixing some issues ourselves, as the water filters cartridges we asked to be checked were so blocked that there was hardly any water pressure and the water we had was boiling hot. It was almost impossible to shower, especially for little kids. Toni has not replied to or acknowledged some of our emails. When I called her to discuss this situation, she was very short and rude with me, so I ended up not even asking what I wanted to ask. I feel this is very two-faced behavior. We have taken care of the property using our own time and money, including doing some painting jobs and pressure washing the roof. We were open to helping the landlord with necessary repairs. Although the situation is disappointing, we have maintained politeness in our emails, recognizing that sometimes things occur that are beyond anyone's control. However, after my phone conversation with her on Friday, I feel even more disappointed, especially regarding the way I was spoken to.

    When I enquired about a property, we booked a viewing and then were informed what price the vendor was after, which was appreciated, but we ended up not going ahead with the viewing as the price was higher than expected. They then proceeded to send me several more properties, which were over 30% more than the original one as suggestions. One of these they didn't include the price (said by negotiation) when they suggested it, and we organised a viewing before we were informed that it was 25% more than the original one, which was nearly double CV so we had no way of knowing. This was a very poor experience and even if we had liked the properties I wouldn't have wanted to go ahead with the purchase as they were frustrating to deal with and just didn't seem to understand that they were wasting their own and my time.
