My partner and I had an unforgettable day. We cruised across the lake on the Airstream boat with Torrey as our captain, who shared fascinating insights about the history and culture of the area. Arriving at the geothermal hot springs felt magical, such a unique and peaceful spot that you can only reach by boat. Truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
Had an amazing afternoon! The Airstream boat is a fascinating unique build, and Matt was a great captain. Saw beautiful waterbirds, stopped at a geothermal beach, and had a relaxing soak in the hot springs watching fantails flit about the bush. Cooled off in the lake and watched the sun set on the way back. One of my favorite New Zealand memories.
I cannot recommend Rotoiti Water Shuffles & Hot Pools high enough! Great for both adults and children. Defiantly our new favorite thermal pools to date!

What a fun experience! We got a ride as two large families to the hot pools in the luxurious new boat. Comfy seating, friendly captain, and great viewing from the large windows. We didn’t get anything from the onboard bar, but they had one, which is amazing. Highly recommend!

What a fantastic experience we had with Matt and Rotoiti Water Shuttles! LOVE! Love! Loved it! Matt was fantastic to deal with from start to finish! We met in Mourea, jumped on the funky and comfortable water shuttle in no time, and straight away Matt gave us a great commentary of the area, the business and everything in between. The scenery is stunning and then we soon got to the Rotoiti Hot Pools which were gorgeous and really well marinated. We even did the awesome bushwalk whilst we were there up to the look out! Highly recommend this experience! We’ll be back!
Matt was a great host and captain, he made the trip very enjoyable. Pick up for our big group right from our rented bach. Hot pools are hot! And such a cute little set up, with a beer from the canteen after warming up and plunging in the lake. Recommend.
We had a magnificent but very chilly winter’s day for our trip- beautiful! I’d recommend a visit to the pools, especially in winter. Soak up the heat, feel warm and relaxed all day. Shiloh was a welcoming and relaxed host, I’m sure we all enjoyed the journey as much as the pools.
