Excellent & friendly service from Steve Long Automotive. I needed an urgent warrant. Initially I went to VTNZ but the line was so long that I googled other places and found Steve. They managed to do my WOF almost immediately at a very fair price. They will be the first people I contact in the future. Highly recommended.

We have been going to Steve Long Automotive for years. The owners Steve and Sandy are honest, hard working genuine people. They are up front about costs if any repairs are needed and do not replace parts unnecessarily. They will tell you when getting a WOF if anything in the near future may need attention allowing you time to plan before your next warrant. Bridget the receptionist is friendly, welcoming and has great communication skills. We will continue to come to Steve Long Automotive for our WOF and for any mechanical repairs that may be needed, knowing they will always do a fantastic job.

Most trust worthy and amazing guy. Im in my late 20s and usually girls like me get ripped off by mechanics however Steve goes out of his way to show me the issue of the vehicle and explains to me what the part is for and how he can fix it. His prices are so good too. For one job I got quoted $350 and he only charged me $108 for the job. That kind of character right there shows me how honest and committed Steve and his wife are to helping us be safe on the road at a really good price!. His word is gold too because if he recommends another company for parts etc Tyres then you won't be disappointed with where he directs you. Receptionist is absolutely lovely to talk with and is so flexible at making things happen. I highly recommend Steve Long Automotive and can guarantee your moneys worth and more!.
Steve was my go to for car maintenance for years before I moved towns. Even after moving I would travel to Tauranga to have work done when I could manage it. I've always found this workshop easy to deal with and very reasonable with their pricing. Not to mention KFC is just down the road so there's always something to do while you wait.

I highly recommend Steve Long Automotive for WOF checks. I have used this service for the last 4 years and each time they have fixed minor stuff right there an then and charge a reasonable rate or done it for free when other WOF testers would send me away to fix it. They are always friendly and helpful when asking them questions. Its nice too see that they now offer After Pay as a payment option.
