This motel is great , we always stay here when we go to christchurch, it lets you have dogs and has a closed in area for the dogs to have a run around, very clean rooms and friendly staff highly recommend
Great roomy motel however did not have anywhere to cook apart from a microwave and air fryer.
Stayed now a third time and will be back again and again. This place is absolutely fantastic right down to every last immaculate, clean condition, with attention to detail. All this to ensure guests have a perfect stay in a quiet, comfortable, generous sized roomy, exceptionally presented motel. The motel is in a great close location to everything that a person wants to get to, or visit attractions in Christchurch. Ashford Motor Lodge is a must stay for all. The rooms at Ashford Motor lodge are very well maintained and cleaned. They have clearly spent time renovating these units and it shows. The kitchen is well organised and the bathroom is incredibly spacious and contemporary. The bed is very comfortable and the heated blankets are an amazing addition for those cold Christchurch mornings (not that you would notice in these rooms). Shelley is incredibly helpful and friendly. Will definitely be recommending this is our new place to stay in Christchurch.
Great value. Reception lady is tops. Booked direct by phone. Dont need t the lijes of travago etc. Could not fault anything, and my car way off the street. Price for one nite stay as good as you will. It is our place to go from now on.
Stayed here on our drive home from the north island. Staff were friendly and polite. The 2 bedroom unit we booked was a great size with fully equipped kitchen. Beds were comfortable and the kids enjoyed a swim in the pool before we headed out for dinner (stayed in November 2022 an late to review). My daughter forgot her toilet bag and the staff rung to let us know which was great! My aunt picked it up and brought it down to us when she visited next! Would absolutely stay again!
Great location. Easy walk to town. #29 bus to & from Airport only 100m away. Vic's Cafe for breakfast and Vesuvios wine bar across the road for drinks & dinner. We even used the pool! Great place to stay with the family.
Only stayed one night, but it was great. Very easy and friendly check in, staff were very helpful. Room was big, clean and modern with a great little kitchen area. Would definitely stay again.
Lovely and clean little establishment, modern rooms, super friendly staff and a wonderful pool for an afternoon swim! Handy for an easy stroll into town as well, and a number of eateries close by for dining out. I definitely recommend a stay here.
Loved staying here. Busy main road, but it didn't affect my sleep even though we were close to the road. The pool was a big hit with my son. The guy on reception was very helpful when we needed to ask him questions. The rooms were nice and the queen bed was super comfy. Would definitely come back.
