Hi there, Appreciate your response. I am happy you acknowledged that the plant is suffering from spider mite infestation which is what I pointed out to Ling and and she acted like she didn’t know the meaning of infestation . please note the plant was given to me in that state. I also understand that it’s my word against the staff member but please also note at the time of purchase I pointed out that the plant doesn’t look healthy and I was assured that’s the only one they have and it will grow just fine. Unfortunately it only deteriorated . I also don’t understand how the response is fair and responsible by inconveniencing your customer for no fault of theirs. I came to your store for simple solution and was left disappointed. The manager should have just replaced the plant and trusted me that’s call good customer service rather than inconveniencing me.

Extremely disappointed with the experience at Palmers Pakuranga store. Bought a Calathea ornata plant few months back. Paid full price, at the time of purchase the plant didn't look very healthy however I was told that's the only one they have and it will grow just fine not to worry. Tried growing for few months but the plant condition only worsened leaves drying up. Went to return the plant as per the terms and conditions which clearly state that if anything you buy from Palmers fails to grow, return it with your proof of purchase and we’ll happily replace it. Unfortunately the manager Ling refused to replace. After haggling for a good 20 minutes, she said to leave the plant at the store and return in few months. She would try to revive it else would replace it then. Is this really customer service for a $30 plant a customer is made to dance around. You are misleading through your advertising which clearly states if the product is faulty and is brought within 12momths it will be replaced this is in breach of the Fair trading act. The customer service standard from a brand such as Palmers underwhelming.

I love garden centres, especially those with a café. Its a large, well stocked centre and the café serves a good coffee. As a bonus...all the people were nice too. In the café their eggs and salmon of rosti stack and salmon are excellent choices, they did not skimp on the salmon. Go and enjoy.

A beautifully arranged garden center with an amazing selection of pots and a huge number of plants in a sprawling corner site. It had a beautiful little cafe in the middle that appeared very popular. Though I didn't try the food, it looked good. There was easy access off the rd with plenty of parking and wheelchair parking and wheelchair accessible entrance and parking. The indoor plant selection was amazing, with plenty of tools and bags of Compost and potting mix of many types

This is a great garden shop. Well laid out, spacious, relaxed. Downsides are sometimes things are a little expensive for their condition, and a lacknof knowledgeable staff (i should say that with the challenge of employing people, this is probably common, and we only get there during weekends, which probably makes it worse) But sometimes it's great to check out different garden stores. You should add Palmers to your list

The food was great, the same with the customer service. My father said it was the best food he'd had in 3 days, I agree with him. If I were to advise any food I would say the Big Breakfast, belguim waffles or the shroom toast are great choices. Ps, the coffee and milkshakes are amazing.
