Medical supply store ???!!!! Yeah rite. I went in with a list of things to re do my bandages etc. Didn't know what I was even talking about, then gave me wrong things etc etc..... I ended up going to te puke vet clinic to get correct thing. Absolute joke of a place. No wonder it's always quiet with zero customers.
The staff were unfriendly, unhelpful and not knowledgeable at all. We were on a road trip and tried to get a prescription with a script and was told that it has to be directly emailed from the doctor for them to dispense even though we were showing them the actual physical copy with us. After a few back and forth, a senior staff came out and said they could dispense the prescription. Little did we know they only dispensed 3 months supply instead of the 6 months supply prescribed in the script without telling us. We didnβt count the stock until we were back on the road. We also didnβt realise that we would have to go back to them to get the rest of the supply. canβt get it in another pharmacy without getting a new script. None of this was communicated to us when we were there, even though we told them we were travelling and thereβs no way we were gonna go back to them just to collect the rest of the drugs in 3 months time.
Went in today for Covid tests, $6.99 for one test!?! I was told they were on special, Absolutely appalled. Welcome Bay pharmacy gave my family member 20 tests at no charge to bring to me. How can they justify this?
Drove 30 minutes one way (yes that's an hour both ways) from out of town to collect a prescription on a Saturday because I was too sick to come yesterday, online your times say 12.30 closing on Saturday. I arrive at 10.40am to roller doors down and shop closed. You are a supplier of medical aids why are you not open when you say you will be? and I've heared nothing good since ownership changed hands, and now I have to wait till Monday for my medication. I will be using Life Pharmacy from now on at least they're reliable. Edit: actually I'll probably end up having to go to 2nd Ave in Tauranga for a new prescription at 10x the price because I'm in so much freakn pain and need some antibiotics if I had have known this pharmacy was not open at its advertised times it could have saved me a whole lot of time money pain and petrol.
The ladies here are soo generous and kind, always there to give great customer service and advice. Only pharmacy I'd go to here
