   Today we experienced trekking with Huntaway Farms. We had the best days riding with a fantastic guide. The farm was beautiful and trail through the native bush was just amazing. There’s a horse for all abilities and they have lovely natures. Would highly recommend a visit to this place if you’re looking to take your kids or a group of girlfriends for a days trekking.

   It was an amazing tour. I did a 2h experience ride, and Ina led us through the jungle together with her breathtaking and trusting horses. She was a really good guide, looked after all of us, so I felt absolutely safe. Although it was so much fun to gallop through the jungle and over the grasslands! I would always do it again. Big thank to you Ina!

   We were very impressed. From the very informative and educational riding information shared at the start, the passive horses, the views out to White Island, across the farmland, through the bush, the flitting of the fantails and the feeling of actual horse trekking. We loved every moment.

   As a family we have completed several horse treks around NZ. We have found this one to be the best we have experienced so far in every way. The Horses, guides, trails and scenery are as good as we have seen yet. We will be back soon to try the longer trek! Loved it. 10/10

   The farm is in a beautiful place. You get there and you feel like you are on top of the world. You are greeted by the loveliest horses and tour guides that make you feel welcome instantly. Then you're match is decided - mine was Pegasus, such a great fella. And then the adventure begins! I loved cantering up hills and the little exploration down to the creek. The horses look after you and teach you to trust them. It was a great ride, I want to go back already!

   A great morning out. My friend and I took our 8 year olds out for their first trek experience. Steve was fantastic with the kids and also somehow managed to cater to our vastly different abilities- my friend is an experienced rider and was able to get out for a couple of canters while I was content to keep four hooves on the ground. Friendly, well organized. Highly recommended.

   We had a really lovely afternoon with Steve and Ina. We were all novice riders but they had great patient horses and we had a beautiful trek through the farm and native bush area. Highly recommend this place
