   My stay here wasn’t for a holiday it was for work , but I had booked and paid for this room I would’ve been very disappointed. The location is great, the room was very clean and service at the front desk was a very friendly lady but the room is no where near 5 star resort, if that is what you are expecting. My particular room which I think are all different, was very old hat, and dated. More the rest home vibe than anything else I am afraid to say. Had I been paying the $345 myself I think I would have left and gone elsewhere. I think it is beyond belief that they think this is acceptable for the money and the style and vibe of this particular unit. I know you’re paying for the location and pool etc here, but most places have a pool and even then the lawns and gardens looked like they could have some maintenance also. I am sorry to leave this review but felt it had to be noted.

   Ideal location near Pak n Save, Papamoa Plaza, Papamoa Beach. Quiet, clean, warm and comfortable apartment with modern, quality appliances and good quality furnishings for a restful and comfortable stay. Good and free wifi. Balcony. Heated pool. Ticks all the boxes. Secure parking with locked compound. Friendly host. Good value accommodation. Will book if we come back to this area.

   From the moment of entry, our host was super friendly and personable. Our apartment is spacious, warm and very comfortable. The lush reclining lounge furniture is a treat. We have our own private outdoor area, this is not common in a motel complex. This has all the comforts of home and more. I can not rate Pacific Palms Resort Highly enough. We haven't finished our stay yet, but we are so very happy and comfortable. A Big Thank You to our hosts. Your establishment is fantastic 10 BIG STARS

   Really enjoyed our short stay here. Hosts were very welcoming, the apartment was very clean and nicely decorated, overlooking the pool. Kitchen well set up for self catering and design of space suited our family size.

   Do not rent unit 31. All rooms are different standards because they are individually owned. We rented 4 units, some well presented and others poorly presented. I advise NOT to rent unit 31, as all appliances didn't work properly. Unit 31 dishwasher broken, oven seals broken, washing machine keeps stopping, drier temperamental, plus toilet cistern runs constantly. Unit 31 maintenance is below standard. The common area grounds are well maintained and lovely, pool is a good size although could be warmer than 25 degrees. Overall was a good stay but tarnished by basic items not working.
