   Recently I hired a weed eater from Academy Hire and I have to say what lovely staff they have there. Nothing was a problem and they went out of their way to make sure I was ok to use it. Will definitely hire from here again. So great being able to support local and be treated so well.

   I have literally just rung earlier and spoken to some lady over the phone and enquired about hiring EWP. She was absolutely rude and had no sense of how to speak to the customer. She said EWP isn't available or something (RUDELY) but if it would've been available, I wouldn't hire it because of the way she spoke to me.

   1 star cause the trailer was in decent condition and the male owner was polite other than that the female owner was rude and charged us extra even when we were clear about our time intensions of borrowing the trailer. If you go there make sure you speak up and don't get ripped off. Reply: Definitely it was Academy hire!

   Hired a thatcher through these guys, first time using one of these machines, owners were so helpful! Showed us how to use and gave us tips on how best to use! Would highly reccomend to anyone! Great service

   Hire is maybe OK. But don't go for a mower repair. I have been there twice first time trouble to get the mower running afterwards means I had to go back to fix it. They waisted my time. But I thought mistakes happen and I went again. BIG MISTAKE !!! The mower was there for a simple service and now the my ride on is losing oil. I'm not sure what these guys are doing but clearly not a proper job. I tried to ring them multiple times but not reply. To sum up if you want a mower fix go somewhere else!!!!

   Was given a faulty mower I injured myself on. They didn't offer a redund. They rush to close at 5pm which is harsh if your a few minutes late returning a trailer. There is no real competition to them in Rolleston. The price is ok. Hope they improve.
