Stopped by for on the way south. The venison burger is amazing, and the coffee was near perfect. Not too busy so easy the maintain social distance.

Staff were very rude. I asked what the salad of the day was. The bar staff replied chicken something. I suffer from food allergies ( carrie Epipens everywhere !) I asked if she knew the ingredients and she replied no. Nice if your a local but if your not you sure know it !

On my first visit after years I barely recognized it when I entered this pub. Beautifully refurbished in a rustic hunters look, it's giving it a nice cozy country-pub atmosphere. No surprise that even on a week day this place is buzzing.

Our experience was wonderful - great food and wine consumed beside the dining room fireplace by knowledgeable, friendly staff. This hotel has a lot of very interesting history dating back to early 1800's which has been retained with relics and memorabilia on display.

It looks like a nice pub and the staff and proprietor are friendly... but to not be able to serve dinner for 90 minutes on a Friday evening and to not let us know until an hour after we ordered seems to indicate they need to be better on their game. But they did give us a refund and an apology so I'd try again if I had enough time...
