Having been to Japan twice I can confidently say that Sushi Donburi stands up to the quality of food in the best restaurants there. The quality of ingredients, excellent textures and flavors, and love which the two women put into the food is very obvious in every bite. This small restaurant in a town we passed by on the way to the Waitomo caves will have a place in my memories for a lifetime.
