   Our family hired the hall for a wedding day after function and it was the perfect venue. The outside area we set up with tables and seats from the hall and it was great. Good kitchen facilities and Judith was a pleasure to deal with, very organised. Thanks Halswell Community Hall Committee.

   I am so happy to have found this beautiful hall with its truly exceptional custodian. What a pleasure to find a hall that is immaculately kept, bright and fresh, generously supplied, community focused, and easy to use in every way. Judith was so available and helpful and made the whole arrangement easy for us in ways that went far beyond my expectations. I will look forward to using this venue again, for sure.

   Great facility and venue. We hired the venue for our 6 year old daughters birthday and had a great time. However, subsequent to our hire the caretaker/treasurer/secretary (one person!) deducted our full bond amount due to trival items. There is always two sides to an argument but in my experience this person is neither fair or reasonable and be prepared to lose your bond. As long as this management is in place I would recommend other venues.
