   We have attended this every year, and always look forward to returning! The Botanic Gardens is an amazing venue for the lights, as it is absolutely stunning at night. While it is often busy, there were only a few times that we had to wait a bit, very understandable for a limited time event. My family loved it and look forward to returning next year!!

   Light show was amazing way better than last year. Besides the cost of tickets for the rides we paid $40 for 1 ride 3 people and the other disappointing part was the food trucks. Unless we missed it we could only find the area by the amusement park which was next to nothing. Hopefully its on again next year with better prices and more food trucks! Otherwise was awesome and an amazing set up. Hands up to the organizers and everyone who help make it happen.

   First time at event in the 5years of living in christchurch,it did not disappoint!! I love lights,sparkles, mini donuts lol and atmosphere in the botanical gardens just made the experience... I enjoyed it alot, there was so much to see for young and old.

   5 stars! I would happily pay double the ticket price. Our kids were enthralled as were the adults. This review is based on the event and the lights being absolutely incredible. Its a shame some people give 1 star reviews because of 1 bad staff member. We interacted with about 50 people, they were all nice

   The Illuminate lights is very beautiful. My family had amazed to all the lights decorations and we enjoyed riding in the train. We bought chips and hotdogs it’s delicious .
