My doggo Raya has been going to Redbrae doggy daycare for almost 2 years and she absolutely loves it, itβs an exciting part of her weekly routine and she adores Sam, unfortunately weβre moving elsewhere and I hope to find a daycare as good as this place ! Thanks for taking care of Raya

UPDATE: ANOTHER DOG LOST FROM THIS DOGGY DAYCARE TODAY. 10/10/24 Fencing is not adequate at all. Be aware that 2 dogs i know of have managed to escape this daycare. One was hit and killed on the state highway and in the most recent incident yesterday, luckily the dog was found in surrounding farmland. I would not place my dog here.

Trusted Sam with our baby lab who was the heart and soul of our family. All seemed good and laid back which was great. Perhaps things were a bit too laid back as today our dog was run over and killed on the premises. Our neighbour stopped using this business some time ago due to injuries and advised us to also stop. I wish we had listened as our family is now devastated and we have all lost our best friend.

5 BIG STARS β our lab comes here once a week for a run around, and also stays with Sam when we go away. Timo comes home super happy and ready for a nap, and we feel really safe leaving him at Redbrae for the weekend - he's cared for so well and has a great time

Starting to lose faith in reliability and communication. Been using Red Brae for a few years now and our boi loooves his days on the farm. He is always pooped and happy when he gets home. However we have been having issues with our pupper not being picked up. Being told 'But if it helps you are getting a discounted rate' (however we pay the full adverised rate on the facebook page) when we message saying that we're getting fed up with paying for a service and not receiving it is not great. Honestly we are not 100% certain how many times we have paid but our dog has not been as it has only be discovered on days I have been home unexpectedly and we have contacted to ask why our dog is at home. The days we have realised and questioned Red Brae have taken him 'replacement' days to make up for those missed so that is appreciated, but not ideal. The only reason we have not looked for other dog care yet is because how excited our dog is when the van arrives to get him, when he is actually picked up and gets to roam the farm with his mates he loves it.

Drove past this place the other week after hearing about a Vizsla escaping to help with the search , was horrified by the lack of suitable dog fencing next to a busy highway! Standard farm fencing with plenty of gaps with green garden mesh to try and cover holes where dogs could easily jump or squeeze out! After reading reviews of a dog escaping and getting hit and also hearing about other dogs escaping in the past from this place and now a beautiful Vizsla missing for weeks with no mention on there page to take responsibility! I canβt believe a place like this is still operating! There ought to be tougher rules for dog facilities in regards to fencing 1800 high minimum ! There should be no excuses especially for multiple times they have escaped ! Itβs not hard to put in adequate fencing ! Better that then more missing or dead dogs! Council ought to shut this place down until they re fence up to standard as itβs a health and safety hazard if dogs are running loose on a highway! I would also like to add under the βSPCA certified standards for dog daycaresβ it states 1800mm high fencing https://www.spcacertified.nz/downloads/assets/3533/1/spca-certified-dog-day-care-standard_2020_final-(003).pdf It may be worth to have a read at minimum standards!

Sam & the team at Redbrae go above and beyond for all the fur babies in their daily care. Morning and evening pickup drop off service direct from our home, natural canine pack behaviour style of interaction all day long, no closed in small spaces or harsh concrete surfaces - but instead acres of paddocks with playgrounds and water troughs to live their very best lives all day long ! Very reasonably priced for all this too! Without a doubt the absolute BEST doggy daycare in the Waikato Region, we feel very privileged to be able to send our poochies to the farm at Redbrae.

Sam, the owner is attentive, great with communication, passionate about his work, professional & very reasonably priced. He is absolutely amazing with every single one of his pack. He and his team works in with us on all aspects. He has a beautiful property and we are very grateful our dogs get to be enriched in such a wonderful environment. Will never send my dogs anywhere else!

We had a completely horrible experience with this business. The first day we gave our beloved dog Binidi into their care, she somehow ended up on the main road and was killed by a car. The explanation they gave for this was completely unacceptable and just to add to the horrible experience later that day they posted a video of her in there care. I would recommend that anyone who loves there pet send them somewhere else. Sort your stuff out mate. If your thinking about putting your dog down, just send them here.
