This place used to be great with amazing clothes for $2 dollars. Unfortunately recently they have increased their prices and even damaged clothes and average high street brands are higher priced. Few months ago they introduced $5 rack, and when I visited last time they have $9.50 rack as well. I donβt mind a higher price items if they are good quality, but these are notβ¦.

Looking for that rare rugby or soccer jersey? Or some warm winter or ski jackets? Toffs has the best selection. Process are steep, $60++ for rugby, $18+ for soccer, $38+ for ski jackets, but beats Facebook and dogey late night carpark meetups. Just drive in, and shop. Plenty of car parking, new premises, light and bright. Huge racks of $2 specials, buddy got some great deals, and beats Sallies $7 for old Tshirts. Great for tamping sand outdoor hunting gear. Getting into books but not much. Q to pay can be long, dont go when it's busy!!

It's always interesting going to toffs, my friend Bella wanted to go, due to health issues I can't walk round too much but scored three items, the staff are lovely and items categorized by colour etc easy to look through. A chair would be nice so I don't have to lean against the wall.

Regarding men's clothes, a good selection of T's and jeans. Not so many trousers and jackets. Helpful and pleasant staff. The only hiccup is no changing rooms, which makes sizing a challenge.

Toffβs Recycled Clothing Warehouse is a Christchurch institution and a must-visit for anyone passionate about sustainable fashion or hunting for a bargain. The warehouse is packed with racks of clothing, materials, and shoes, most priced at just $2 per item. Thereβs also a separate section for higher-end finds, making it a treasure trove for both budget shoppers and those seeking something a bit special. The sheer size of the store means youβll need to set aside a few hours to browse-but the thrill of the hunt is part of the fun. Toffβs is known for its no-frills, down-to-earth atmosphere and the chance to walk away with a full wardrobe for the price of a coffee. My family bought quite a few coffee there. Itβs a true Christchurch icon for second-hand shopping.

This is a great place to find cheap clothing. It's much better than a standard OP shop because you're not paying excessive prices for junk. Most OP shops these days expect to sell donated items for more than what they would cost brand new, and then you know that the majority that they earn goes to their fat cat CEO's before it gets to their charity unless it's the City Mission OP shop of course. Toffs makes no illusion that it's a business out to make money, and I'd rather give my money to them because at least I know that they're not trying to rip anyone off.

Variety wise is really good, but it's not my favorite second-hand shop. $2 clothing can occasionally find a bargain... however, most of the time, they have holes, rips, are dirty, and really should just go on the bin. The main good stuff is way over price, and unfortunately, the staff have always been rude.
