   My wife was transfered from Chch Women Hospital after our son was born in the afternoon.It's such a wonderful birthing unite. They helped us a lot especially Suzie. She is professional and kind. We learned a lot from to about how to take good care of our son. We really appreciate it. She gave us confidence and important knowledge. Other staff came in time in the early morning and they were super helpful. Our son is much happier with us now thanks to the staff, this unit and Suzie.

   Such an awesome maternity unit! Got transferred here from Christchurch Woman’s hospital and so glad we did!! The staff were amazing and the facility was amazing too. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!! The food was also really good!

   Fantastic new facility, Oromairaki Community Maternity Unit opened May 2022. Wife gave birth here and stayed for 2 nights. Professional, kind and caring staff. Very spacious and modern rooms with nice whanau room in the corner where you can make tea/coffee/milo. Highly recommend
