   I wish there were a minus star option, pathetic work ethics, useless, incompetent and arrogant staff. Should be closed and all Brands MUST delist them from after sale service as they have no idea of any work.

   AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!! Gave one star as it wouldn't allow us to put zero which would be our choice. Had a Belling oven that is 6 years old, that wouldn't heat up, had our property managers from Harcourts Rentals Hamilton contact Five Star Appliances ( same address and contact details as Appliance Servicing Company Limited who the estimate came from) out to investigate Technician was on site for 5-7 minutes did not appear to test anything, we then received an estimate for $1000 stating that the "fan element was open circuit, display control board not responding and thermostat was faulty" This rang alarm bells with my husband who is an electrician as it is not very often that all 3 components would go at once. So decided to go check himself we were shocked to find out there was nothing wrong with the oven just the fact it had been put in “SH:OP” mode which stops the element from heating while on display in the shop, it took us less than 10 minutes to resolve this on goggle, we did not require manual just googled error code that was intermittently flashing on oven screen. We thought we should test further to check control panel and element we found these to be in good working order. After resetting oven, we also tested thermostat which was also functioning properly and got to temperature fine. We contacted the manger to voice our concerns she said she would come back to us with a response as we are still waiting for that 7 days later we decided to place review and warn people. We would not recommend anybody to use Appliance Servicing Company Limited /Five Star Appliances

   I want to thank you for an excellent service! The South African lady at reception went above and beyond and organised everything directly with the appliance shop to have our dishwasher repaired during a very difficult time in our life. It is truly appreciated. It's good to know you still get some kind people in the world!!! Thank you!!

   Only give 1 star so I can comment. Only give facts. 1) Wife rang explains that we have an electrical fault oven not turning on. She also said 120cm oven so need two people to pull out. 2) I found out (husband here used before really bad) 2) two people turn up one old one young, pull oven out. They visually look at the back they didn't have a electrical meter to test for faulty wires. 3) told us its need to go to their repair shop, take 2 weeks to fix. 4) next day rang someone else they arrive one person with electrical meter fix broken cable done changes $138.00 totally. 5) told above five not to come back they charged $268 for site visit. You do the maths. I used them years ago under Lawrence's in hamilton east was very good than new owners not good

   If I could give them zero stars I would. Terrible service, three months without our appliance to finally realise it wasn’t economical to repair and I’m still not 100% they diagnosed the problem correctly at any stage. Broken promises, wrong parts supplied (supposedly), no proactive contact, very slow to respond to messages, absolutely useless. Took a personal visit to their workshop to get to the bottom of things. Run a mile and find someone else, wish I’d read the last few reviews before I used them, never again

   Been waiting more than a month after taking my oven there. First wrong part ordered, then needed a wiring diagram and element to be replaced. Been calling their call centre but they don't respond not very happy with their service. Just been to their office still no answer. Seems their technician John has no idea and need help from others, was asked if I could give advice. Still no call from the technician. Well after my visit, I was texted the following day saying that there are more things faulty and that they cannot repair. When I collected my oven a comment from one of the technicians " you might as well throw it away". They gave the oven back with everything disconnected, not the service their website states. Took oven to another appliance repair, found screws missing and light fixtures broken, well done five star!!!!!!!!!!

   It is quite difficult to find this establishment. You have to enter the driveway and make your way in and turn left. Five stars is at the end. It is quite a small shop but does what they do best. It is under new management now.

   I could not recommend Ross and the team from 5 star appliances more! Ross really knows his stuff and you can tell he has been in the business for a long time. I really appreciated that he took the time to explain the issues to me and options of how it could be resolved. He even went out of his way to do the repairs in the workshop and provide the most cost effective solution. If you need appliance repairs, you are in great hands by using these guys! 10/10

   I ordered a couple of parts for my Dish Washer, despite being many different models they got the right one first time and delivered inside a week at a much more cost effective price than their online competition. They were very helpful, gave me some tips for fitting and have been fantastic to deal with and know their stuff for sure! Good to know quality service and support still exists in a post COVID 2022 world! Highly recommended!
