Great place to shop, though selection is obviously greater in a larger store. Lovely and knowledgeable staff make up for it.

Excellent service, Brad at the Mount Maunganui store helped me out to find the right hiking pack, right size and information. They let me really look at the pack, clips, straps, zips and even sized me up for the correct size. Awesome service, thank you.

Beautiful outdoors and adventure apparel store stocking a wide variety of mens , womens and kids clothing and outdoors equipment like backpacks, hiking shoes, shirts, tops, jackets, shorts, pants, camping equipment and much more. Many items made from environmentally recycled cotton which is so soft and fair-trade sourced producers.
Waited 25mins, with our irritated toddler, for advice on backpack harness size for my wife (we had decided on the pack). Gave up after that. The sales woman was too busy flirting with some guy who later walked out with nothing for longer than we were there! We even waited in line at the counter to ask for help, the poor girl at the counter was too swamped. Macpac was a good kiwi brand once upon a time. Those days and customer service are gone.
Not a good customer service by lady at the counter, bought a jacket she didn’t even offer us a bag, how do we carry the jacket in our hands? When we ask for a bag she handover us very small bag why she can’t even put jacket into the bag? Because she gonna get trouble by putting into it as it was very tiny little bag. Grow up guys we are not here to gettin free stuff
Good product and pricing
I love Macpac products. Always purchase as a preference over any other outdoor store. As a store, it was clean and tidy, staff were friendly and ready to assist, product I was looking for was in stock. Just the way you like a retail store. Will return for anything else I need.
