    Great scooter/skatepark for the kids with adjacent playground and public toilets. The mini trains next to it run every Sunday from 1 to 4pm as well, and they are always a hit with the kids! Moreover, the Halswell Library is a short drive away. It's large and well-stocked with a cute café and swimming pool that opens in summer.

    Amazing space for adults and children! There's a big playground, a skate park and a miniature steam train you can ride on Sundays. Great views and awesome for photography. There's no shade so I'd avoid on hot or rainy days.

    Stunning panoramic view from the top of the quarry on a nice sunny day. Short walks range from 30 to 45 mins depending on your walking abilities. The initial port of entry can put a great pressure on your cardiovascular system but the pass has a gentle degree of ascension. There are laminated signs describing the history around the area throughout. Be mindful and considerate of private residents nearby.
