I had my hair cut and coloured yesterday at Scissortrix and thoroughly enjoyed my whole appointment. Merilyn did a brilliant job of getting the colour right that I had asked her for and I can only give this salon 5 stars in my review.

The salon was beautiful and the hairdressers were all lovely and friendly. I came here after seeing positive reviews for curly hair cuts. I was a bit disappointed my hair was cut wet and not dry like is normal for curly hair and even after left for a few months to grow is uneven and shorter than I would have liked. I think the error I made was booking online and not choosing the right stylist but being new I just followed good reviews. Overall the salon is lovely just didnt end up with what I had hoped.

I made an appointment with Merilyn to have my wild curly hair cut. The welcome to the clinic made me feel very comfortable and Merilyn was great and listened to my needs and made some great suggestions. My hair sulks for a few days after cutting but now is back to normal and the cut is great. I would highly recommend a visit if you are wanting someone to take care of your wild and woolly. curls.
