   Lovely people with good reviews, so had high hopes. Ordered two half hams, and was a little disappointed with how pale they looked. Was further let down when we tried them. They were beautifully meaty and not at all dry, but the flavour ranged from tasteless to on the turn. Very little smell - nothing remotely smoky. Bought them for a big get-together over the new year, and just felt embarrassed. Sorry guys, won’t be ordering again.

   I really wanted to like this place and make it my new regular butcher given they’re additive free/no nasties. I placed a large order (over $200) comprising of various meats and sausages and would expect being a butcher, everything would arrive fresh. Instead I got frozen sausages, some even with expired dates, frozen chicken thighs with dates and weights ripped off but could see one pack was from March and everything arrived thawed out meaning I had to bin some of it. The only thing guaranteed safe was the lamb shoulder which appeared to be fresh. I rang to share my disappointment and although Garth was nice there was no resolution, not even offering to replace this +$200 order. On that basis I won’t be using them again.
