During an Uber Eats delivery, the driver requested that items be bagged for safe transport, but this was denied by an Indian staff member. This led to a disagreement over basic food safety rules. The staff handled the situation unprofessionally, showing disregard for delivery protocols. This review serves as a warning to all delivery drivers and customers: exercise caution when ordering from this cafe. Their poor management and unsafe handling practices make it an unreliable choice for safe food delivery.
Just ordered from this place on uber eats and unfortunately I wish I never did! I ordered crepes with whipped cream which arrived covered in chocolate which I can’t currently eat, sent photos and requested a refund which was declined, so a waste of $20 - I also ordered scrambled eggs on toast, the toast wasn’t even toasted it was essentially just bread! Extremely disappointing experience, if a cafe can’t even toast bread properly or get a basic order right without correcting the error then I don’t understand the point of operating as a hospitality business - steer clear and save your money, they won’t even correct an order that THEY got wrong!
I recently visited Green Room Cafe in Christchurch, and I was thoroughly impressed by the vibrant atmosphere and friendly service. The menu offers a delightful range of fresh, healthy options, and I particularly enjoyed their signature smoothie bowl, which was both delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, making for an enjoyable dining experience. The cozy seating and thoughtful decor added to the charm of the cafe. Overall, Green Room Café is a fantastic spot for a nutritious meal or a refreshing drink, and I can't wait to return!
Our walking group of 5x visited The Green room Cafe on Wed. We enjoyed our food and coffee and the service was good and staff friendly. It was a cold day but warm in Cafe.
We love our local! Dave, Donna and the team not only provide great coffee the banter is on point too! Super friendly, clean and good vibes. An extensive kitchen menu compliments the endless choices from the cabinet. Always a hive of activity and a great place to sit and spend your morning tea break!
This is my local. Dave and team make great coffee, delicious food and if you have time to do more than cabinet food you won't be disappointed. Great menu and always friendly service. Dave comes from a long history of hospitality and hotel management so you're in good hands when you step into The Greenroom Cafe.
