This store has changed ownership - it’s no longer a Bin Inn and the hours are different (it closes on Saturday at 3, for example). Google New Brighton Wholefoods. Can’t comment on shopping experience; came right at closing time.
I buy only 1 product from here, that’s all. Hard to day if there is one more thing I like about this rundown, weird shop with a strange shop assistant (she has never been rude to me but she always looks like she doesn’t care lol). I was told that the shop had more products before. Sad to see that it’s getting worse every year.
Would give it 0 stars if I could. Not only a very rude comment today about me not wearing a mask even though I told her I am exempt but then refusing to help me find what I needed. Super unfriendly and rude. Would not recommend anyone to shop there and won't be back. Perhaps staff could use some training on customer service...
Highly disappointed with my visit, the shop in New Brighton looks very tired, hardly any products and what they do have is very expensive, quite hard to find anything, when I did find what I was looking for I was over charged. Not at all what I remember Bin Inn being like a few years back, I won't give up though I'll just try another Bin Inn store which is a shame for New Brighton.
Lousy service from the grey haired shop assistant. I asked for help locating some products, but she just pointed from the counter instead of showing me, so I ended up walking up and down the aisle trying to find what I wanted. No one else was in store so she had the time to be more helpful. They only had small paper bags in stock, nothing large to fit the amount of product I wanted. I asked they had larger bags or if I could purchase a large container as I had previously had a small bag stuffed with product rip open and the contents ended up in the floor of my car. To which she snidely replied that other people manage quite well with their paper bags. Rude and unnecessary. So I left and made my purchase at the Stanmore Rd Binn Inn where the staff are helpful and friendly.
Good selection of bulk goods and lovely staff who are always keen for a chat. Our son loves getting a stamp on his hand when he comes here and I love that I can bring my own containers. We've stopped buying our baking supplies from the supermarket. This has quickly become a regular part of our shopping!
This place has an excellent range of products. It's ideal for people willing to have a healthier diet or save some money buying bulk. It also has a nice selection of imported cheeses. I don't give 5 stars just because there are other shops offering similar products for less price (but usually the range is not as good).
