   Caitlin was a life saver, my mom and I was looking forward to the Tranzalpine train tour we booked. It was cancelled a few days prior due to lack of min req people, but I didn’t see it because I was travelling. The day before the supposed event, I panicked and called the hotline and Caitlin, during her after hours, kindly helped me to arrange for another day. Thank you!

   I didn’t use this service but I have just witnessed one of the tour guides disrespecting ticketing staff at an attraction in full uniform. Not a good look for your company and I’d hope your guides can understand that when they wear the named uniform, They are representing the company. Appalling behaviour shown.

   We had an amazing experience traveling from Greymouth to Christchurch with Scott as our driver. He was incredibly friendly and made everyone feel welcome right from the start. His commentaries about the area were fascinating — you could tell he’s very knowledgeable and passionate about sharing local stories and insights. Scott was also very understanding of the group’s needs, making sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying themselves throughout the trip. His sense of fun and humor kept the journey lively and entertaining. Highly recommend him if you’re looking for a tour driver who goes above and beyond.

   This is the second time we went with Leisure tours after 7 years. The experience was incredible. Kevin was super friendly and helpful during the entire booking process via email. Our driver and guide, Stephanie, was simply superb. Took great care of our group and was very humble and friendly. She was concerned about everyone in the group, the kids and the adults. Ensuring we reach back to the cruise ship within time, she made sure we did the most of our time. We went to Akaroa for the Hector Dolphins. And we saw so many other things on the way. If you are travelling by cruise, they are the best in New Zealand for Shore excursions. Very happy with the service. Keep up the good work Leisure tours. Highly recommended.

   We took the Arthur's Pass and TranzAlpine Train Day Tour from Christchurch and our driver was Jude. . It's quite rare for the driver to wait for us at our hotel but early this morning right before 7:15am, Jude was already at our hotel waiting for us. I told her my wife hurt her knee at Mt. Cook yesterday and she said "no worries, she would take note of that!" . She shared with us a lot of her experience driving and taking past customers to Arthur's Pass and she even stopped her coach to allow us to take some awesome photos at Arthur's Pass. . Honestly, it's our first time to Christchurch and prior to that, we did not hear Arthur's Pass at all. So, today's tour was an eye-opener and helped us understand the history of this place, and enjoyed the bright sunshine and snowy (but not too cold) mountain view. . Thanks to Leisure Tours and of course, our driver, Jude! You are awesome.

   The staff here are great. I was booked in for the Akaroa day tour but unfortunately they had to cancel on the day before due to other customers withdrawing. The team offered me a spot on their Kaikoura whale-watching tour occurring the same day at no extra cost (value was $100 more). This ended up being a very fun excursion in a small group of only five. We had two whale encounters and saw plenty of dolphins and seals as well. Our guide was very knowledgeable of the area and superbly navigated a few logistical roadblocks we were dealt.

   Kevin organised a personalised tour for us and it was amazing! A 7 day tour, 3 days based in Queenstown and 3 days in Christchurch. All the activities, day tours and transfers were perfectly timed and the accommodation was lovely. The experiences were beautiful: Milford Sound cruise, TSS Eanslaw cruise with superb lunch at Walter Peak Station, visit to Mt Cook national Park with hike to Tasman Glacier, Tranzalpine Train ride, jet boat ride, high country afternoon tea, visit to lovely Lakes with amazing landscapes as a backdrop among many other activities. I highly recommend Kevin and the Leisure tours team for organising any visit to New Zealand.
