   I’m really disappointed with the service I received today at Michael Hill Palms. I placed an online Click & Collect order because I wanted to buy a bracelet as a birthday gift for my husband’s sister. When I came to pick it up, I politely asked if I could purchase an extra gift box or have it wrapped nicely since it was a special gift. The staff seemed completely uninterested and didn’t even try to help. This isn’t the first time I’ve had a disappointing experience when collecting an online order it really feels like customers who buy online are treated differently from those who purchase in-store. I genuinely love Michael Hill’s jewelry, but the customer service at this branch made me feel unvalued. I just wanted to make a small moment special but they made me regret choosing this store again.

   Subject: Disappointing Experience at Michael Hill – Earring Issue Dear Michael Hill Customer Service, I visited your store today to address an issue with one of my earrings. I had purchased two pairs (see attached photo) just over $250.00 just a week ago, and already, the butterfly on one of them had broken. Unfortunately, my experience in-store was disappointing. The staff gave me a replacement butterfly, but it was not the same as the original. When I asked about returning the mismatched one, I was told I could only bring it back if it breaks too. I found the replacement difficult to put on and had to request a mirror myself, as no assistance was offered — something I’ve never experienced before at Michael Hill. The service felt quite dismissive and lacked the professionalism I’ve come to expect from your brand. I hope this can be looked into, as I’ve always valued Michael Hill for both quality products and excellent customer care. .

   Unhelpful salesperson. They had a ring in stock I saw online and was interested in but couldn’t be bothered finding it for me because I wasn’t going to make a sale. Someone with good customer service would find me that ring because it shouldn’t be only about making sales. Sadly, I went home without seeing it.

   Never shop there again. Went in with my husband to get my wedding ring fixed and it was ruined, so haven't been able to wear it since. Treated like a criminal and then ignored to talk to my husband. Worst customer service ever.
