Hey the fitting room, this isn't really a review, but more of a question, all I ask if Men are allowed in the store so they can buy women's clothes for either their girlfriend, wife, sister, mum, and any other women, and also would it be embarrassing for a man, aka me to just walk into the shop, and get something for my girlfriend.
I took my 15yr old daughter to get a couple of new bras, she'd been experiencing painful breasts for a while and uncomfortable illfitting bras. She walked out of the shop wearing her newly fitted bra without any pain, and it felt some much more comfortable. Recommend the ladies with their professional, friendly service with my teenage daughter.
Consistently disappointing …. I don’t usually provide negative feedback, but I wanted to share my recent experience, especially as I couldn’t find any staff in-store at the time to speak with directly. Over the past 10 years, I’ve had consistently positive experiences at The Fitting Room. However, my last two visits have left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I even booked appointments at two different locations to give it another chance, but was seen by the same staff member both times. During the first appointment, I was incorrectly sized (an 18 when I usually wear a 12). The staff member initially said the bra fit well, until I pointed out specific issues — which were not resolved. Her response was that “this was the best they could do.” Ultimately, she was unable to find anything that fit properly, and I ended up fitting myself in a better bra at a department store. The second appointment was for swimwear. They weren’t aware of my appointment even though I had received a text reminder. I was disappointed in the styles she selected, they felt more suited to someone in their 60s rather than in their 30s and were quite different from what’s available online. I was also left alone in the dressing room to try on swimwear with back clasps, which made the process frustrating and uncomfortable, especially when assistance is typically part of the fitting experience. Unfortunately, after two poor experiences, I won’t be returning.
Popped into the Colombo St store this morning to hopefully purchase a swim suit for our upcoming trip away . Probably 20 mins later the transaction was done . The service was fantastic . Emma (sorry if I got this wrong) was super lovely. She helped with a few different styles to try , but in the end went with the first option she gave me . At this time of year (July) it is hard to find swim suits, let alone those for curve bodies. So happy I found them . Thanks ladies I will be back .
I phoned and was able to make a very last minute appointment to be fitted for a sports bra. The lady on the phone was lovely and very accommodating. The staff in the store were kind, warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and non-judgemental. I was initially concerned about how much I would be paying for a sports bra, but for $100 (very reasonable when you've tried and failed in a multitide of other stores to find a 16G!) I got a very comfortable, very supportive sports bra, and a wonderful experience with some truly lovely ladies. Will definitely be shopping here again!

I would just like say "thank you". I had to have a right breast mastectomy 4 months ago. Today was my prosthetic fitting. I was so nervous going. Sally was totally amazing. She put me at ease throughout. Explained the process and what was needed. Was really kind and patient. Thank you for making me normal again xx
I would like to thank Angie so much again, for your knowledge of the amazing stock and your professionalism at the Fendalton Rd Fitting Room. My appointment was a magical experience. Within minutes I was able to replace my old "Felini" bras that I purchased in Auckland 2007!!
A lovely retail therapy experince. Having a specialist assitant that could make suggestions and bring the lingerie and swimwear to you was great. Excellent service. Highly recommended
I just bought my first bra from the fitting room and all I can say is I am not only in awe at how amazing the bra I got is but also for the overall amazing customer care from the whole team there. Andrea took care of me and went above and beyond to help me find what I wanted and more importantly needed. She was thoughtful, helpful and so understanding. I just want to send out the biggest thanks and i so look forward to passing the recommendation to people on my world! I will never be shopping anywhere else just outstanding!
