Some nice shopping at this place. Very pricey and staff service was awful, feel like you asking for free stuff. They should let staff know how to respect the customers and provide better service. Price is little higher compared to other second hand shops.

Entered the store 15 minutes before closing time as I only wanted to quickly check out some ties. The rude woman at the front desk gruffly stated βNo, weβre closing soonβ. I left and I certainly wonβt come back. Appalling customer βserviceβ.

Great thrifting to be done here, I just brush past a lot of H&H, anko and shein (you can just get those brand new if you really like it) and there's quite a few gems. The curtains on the changing rooms are pretty short just FYI, I guess they have their own reasons for why that is so haha. S/O to the dresses section, some really good pieces laid out.

Just want to point out your name is save mart, so why is everything as expensive as buying something that is new? Save mart was a great store for people who like thrifting for old second hand things and or clothes now everything is way too over priced. His goes for all the save marts in Christchurch

Used to love savemart, it was always my go to but the prices have gotten pretty out of hand now so I don't go often and don't find much anymore. Has to be one of the most expensive secondhand places around now aside from the "boutique" ones and quite often it's not even branded stuff that's way too overpriced (and often things not in great condition that still have a high price tag)! Such a shame it was a real gem.

I found this store to have a great variety of clothing, and it is seems clean and well organised. However their prices let them down. Some of the clothing are near the 'new' retail price which is a bit off, considering they get given their clothing for nothing. I understand they have to cover the cost of wages, lighting, heating etc, but at the end of the day it is an op shop, therefore people usually shop in these stores for a more affordable alternative to buying new.

Huge space with plenty of clothes, depends on what you're looking for. Well sorted clothes, easy to find different pieces. Really friendly staff and service!
